Dunkerque.I'd always thought that 'Cash Converters' was a Sydney - Melbourne thing, and couldn't resist snapping this one in the main street of Dunkerque. While I was doing so, the owner snuck up behind me, and (perhaps suspecting a competitor) asked why I was photographing his store. I explained as above, and then he got quite matey, and wanted to show me around.

The shopkeeper obviously thought you were either English or Australian - either way, completely undesirable, and more likely a potential thief. What self-respecting storekeeper would not keep a very close eye on a geriatric street-person who looked like he'd just spent the night in the local cemetery? And the black-and-white striped jumper was a dead give-away.
